Console vault install#
No modifications to your vehicle’s console are needed to install.Fits in the console of your vehicle, concealed from view.
Just follow the directions and there will be no issues. As mentioned, the process is described in detail on the accompanying install sheet.
Drop the safe in and attach 2 screws with a socket wrench. I set my new combination for the lock and brought the Console Vault over to my truck for the install. It is recommended by the company and will simplify the process.
Console vault code#
Just be sure to set your new combo code before you install your Console Vault. One sheet explains the simple install and the other sheet has directions on configuring your combo lock. There are a couple of instruction sheets that come with the Console Vault. It came with a 4-digit combination lock that was drill resistant. The safe looked good and you can tell that it was built to last. I unboxed it, gave it a once-over and was happy with what I was seeing and feeling. The Console Vault arrived in a couple of days. I received a reply almost instantly and they confirmed that I was good to go with my pick up. I reached out to Console Vault to make sure that the safe fit my 2021 Chevy Colorado. Installation was as simple as dropping in the Console Vault, into my console and affix 2 screws. It was made from 12-gauge steel, offered a lifetime warranty and came custom fitted from my Chevy Colorado. The Console Vault looked pretty good on paper. I searched around the internet and found the Console Vault. Judging from that assortment, if my gear were to be stolen, there wouldn’t just be monetary loss but also some added liability. My work tools range from firearms and self-defense tools to camera and video equipment. I recently bought a new pick up truck and wanted something to protect my work tools while I’m out in the field as well as working in shady areas.
